Moses' Symbolic Temple

Moses' temple in the wilderness symbolizes material thought and spiritual consciousness. Standing outside, we see man from the mortal view as skin and flesh, unable to enter into the kingdom of God. Standing inside, we are in the most holy place - at the center of all real being. We must slay the so-called innocent lamb (give up all belief in material life) just to gain an admission ticket - an invitation to the wedding. Then, trials and proof of worthiness are required in order to put on our wedding garment and gain entry into the spiritual realm. We then discover, to our delight, that God's presence never left us. Love is always available and free.
